I’m sorry if this has happened in the past, I’ve been searching for a while and I haven’t found anything. I’m a new Mac user, so I’m a little worried if I did something myself. I bought this brand new MacBook from the Apple Store in April 2008.

A few weeks ago I noticed a small white shadow in the bottom left corner of the MacBook and it has been growing ever since. I’m using a screen saver that I set to activate after 10 minutes of inactivity, so I don’t think it’s burning any pictures or anything.

I’m glad I bought an Apple car when I got the computer, and I have time to get it out on Tuesday. But in the meantime, I’m a little worried that they might blame me for this. I hope I haven’t done anything stupid. Has anyone seen this problem before? Can they be developed by the user? Can i do something myself.

I tried to take a screenshot with cmd / option / 4 but the interesting thing is that when I did that there was no problem. Instead, I took digital photos and used a flat black desktop background to make the problem easier to find. I have attached a picture here and you can find more here.
